  1. In S003U001L010, what’s L stand for? And is there difference between android and iOS? Mine is iOS, my S3U1 is Give My Regards to Broadway, S3U2 is Tonight - Kesha, S3U3 is Bicycle Built for Two, S3U4 is Flowers - Miley Cyrus.

    1. First of all, the nomenclature I use to identify a song is: Section, Unit, and Lesson, accompanied by the corresponding number. In the case of Lesson, it's the number that corresponds to it in that unit by order of study. Secondly, I have an Android smartphone, and the numbering corresponds to what I see on my phone. The course on iPhone is slightly different, and new features are also introduced on iPhone first. Thirdly, you may have noticed that the latest releases have the word 'updated' followed by a date. This is because there was a significant modification to the songs in each unit. To date, I have only updated up to Unit 8 of the first section. The songs you mentioned will have the following numbering on Android: S003U001L003 Give My Regards to Broadway, S003U001L005 Tonight - Kesha, S003U001L011 Bicycle Built for Two, S003U001L012 Flowers - Miley Cyrus. This is assuming Duolingo doesn't modify the course content before I update that unit in June 2025.

    2. In android version, there’s more than one tune in one unit? In iOS version, each Unit has only one tune; Section 1 has 57 Units, Section 2 has 52 Units, Section 3 has 161 Units; each units contains 4 parts, in all units, part 3 is preparing to play the tune, and part 4 is playing the tune; for part 1 and 2, some units are 1. introducing a concept like the note B flat, then 2. introducing the tune of this Unit, and other units are 1. introducing the tune of this unit, then 2. Personalized Practice or Match Madness.

    3. Currently, in the Android version, Section 1 has 12 units, Section 2 has 12 units, and Section 3 has 40 units. Each unit contains between 3 and 6 songs, and the lessons introduce the unit's concept and include some passages from the songs as prior practice. As I mentioned before, they usually implement it on iPhone first and then on Android. The new paradigm you described seems more focused on learning each individual song.

    5. I can make some sheet in Section 3 (iOS ver.) using MuseScore 4, because I’m learning Section 3 right now, and some songs are hard so I need to learn through the whole sheet before playing, so if I couldn’t find the sheet here, I’ll make it myself. Do you need me to send the sheet to you? For you haven’t finished Section 3 yet and this might reduce your workload. Now I’m learning S3U12(iOS) Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper.

    6. Of course, you are free to do as you wish. However, my plan is to continue publishing the sheet music following the current Duolingo study order. Originally, I uploaded songs according to the previous study order, and I completed the publication of Section 3, Unit 22 on March 5th, 2025. On that date, Duolingo added several songs by well-known artists and versions performed by the Duolingo characters (Junior's version, Lily's version, etc.), in addition to slightly modifying some of the songs I had already published.

Due to these changes, I decided to review all the published sheet music and transcribe the new songs. I started this update process on March 8th, 2025, beginning with Section 1, Unit 1, and today I have published the first part of Section 1, Unit 10.

As you mentioned in a previous comment, the iPhone version of Duolingo increased the number of units to accommodate a single song per unit. These changes are expected to reach the Android version in the near future, although I anticipate that a large percentage of the songs will be the same ones I am publishing now.

When this update is implemented on Android, I will create a page with an index ("contents") that will link to the web pages where those songs are located, and I will start publishing following the new Duolingo order of one song per unit.

I have uploaded a page to the blog with a basic list of the songs I uploaded from Section 3: “ https://duolingomusicsheets.blogspot.com/2025/04/003-section-contents-part-2-and-3-old.html “ so you can check if any of them might interest you. As I explained, this list does not include songs by well-known artists or versions by the Duolingo characters.

For transcriptions, I use MuseScore 3 and I usually save the files in .mid and .musicXML formats, which are more universal.

    8. OK, then I'll use MuseScore 3 too. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1O-XMJuRDJJkPk74NSKLgql7CYjR2aQ3g ←I'll put sheets in this link. After Android updates, you can use them.

  2. OK, it's a deal, when the time come I will use them and give you credit. Take care
